The PT-40-IMP parking curb marks the parking space and stops the vehicle before it hits a wall, a column or the car ahead. At 55 centimeters long and 4.5 kilograms, it is easier to handle than a full-length curb and suits individual spaces or areas where covering the full width is not practical. Its 100% recycled rubber construction brings two concrete advantages: it uses recovered material instead of virgin raw material and, being flexible, it does not damage the vehicle’s lower fascia when the tire makes contact. Its diagonal yellow reflective stripes keep the curb visible at night and in low light, when it is needed most. It is fixed to the floor with the four 10.5 centimeter screws included in the presentation, on hydraulic concrete or asphalt, and its hollow base structure reduces weight without compromising strength. That said, its scope should be respected: it is designed for light and medium vehicles, not for large freight trucks, buses or trailers, whose weight can override it and wear it down through compression. Periodically check the condition of the floor and the screws, and replace any bent or damaged screw.
