The LVB-ARAMIDA lanyard combines two features rarely found in the same connector: elastic webbing and Kevlar construction. The elasticity lets the lanyard measure 1.3 meters at rest and extend to 1.8 meters as the worker moves away from the anchorage, so no webbing hangs loose or snags on the structure during movement. Kevlar, an aramid fiber, provides high strength at low weight. Its integrated energy absorber dissipates the force generated in a fall, instead of transmitting it in full to the worker’s body. Its two American-style hooks serve different purposes: the standard hook connects to the harness dorsal D-ring, and the rebar hook wraps around larger structural profiles and elements without needing an intermediate anchorage. Together with the arc-resistant metal accessories, this configuration makes it the natural complement to the ARN-ARAMIDA harness for crews exposed to electrical risk. That said, always verify that the anchorage is sound, avoid sharp edges and abrasive surfaces, and calculate fall clearance by adding the extended length, absorber elongation and the worker’s height. Remove it from service immediately if it has already arrested a fall, and inspect it before each shift, as required by NOM-017-STPS-2024.
Recommended for general construction work, scaffold work, building cleaning and repair, telephone towers, electrical sector activities and forestry. Its rebar hook is especially useful in structural assembly, where anchoring directly to beams and wide-section profiles is required. It fits electrical distribution, telecommunications, structural assembly and industrial maintenance.
