NORMATIVAS Y CERTIFICACIONES

113-STPS-2009 TIPO III + TIPO II + TIPO VI TENIS DE SEGURIDAD

The ARN-ARAMIDA dielectric harness is built in Kevlar, an aramid fiber that offers high strength at low weight, and reaches 23 kN webbing breaking strength. Its 45 mm webbing distributes fall forces across the buttocks, shoulders, chest and torso, while the rear D-ring receives the lanyard at the correct point. The 5-point adjustment, together with the height-adjustable chest strap and the sub-pelvic strap, allows it to fit different builds without the webbing sliding off the shoulder during the shift. What sets this model apart is its configuration against electrical risk: the connection buckles are made of dielectric material and the metal accessories are declared resistant to electrical arc. That is why the data sheet approves it for electrician work and telecommunications infrastructure with exposure to wiring, a use the line’s standard harnesses exclude. Even so, its scope should be stated precisely: the harness does not replace the worker’s specific dielectric equipment — gloves, footwear and insulated tools. Select it within a complete system with compatible anchorage and connection, avoid sharp edges and abrasive surfaces, and never place the lanyard on a weak or fragile structure. Remove it from service immediately if it has already arrested a fall, and inspect it before each use, as required by NOM-017-STPS-2024. It must not be used to remain suspended at heights.
Recommended for general construction work, scaffold work, building cleaning and repair, forestry and, notably, electrician work and telecommunications infrastructure with exposure to electrical wiring. It fits electrical distribution, telecommunications, industrial maintenance and civil works. Its aramid construction makes it relevant where high webbing strength at low weight is required.
