The ARN-DIELEC-L dielectric harness solves a specific problem: conventional harnesses use metal buckles and rings, which makes them inconvenient when work at height coincides with the presence of electrical energy. This model replaces that hardware with non-metallic components with dielectric properties, without giving up the architecture of a full body harness. Its polyester textile webbing and nylon stitching distribute fall forces across the buttocks, shoulders, chest and torso, while the dorsal D-ring concentrates the lanyard connection at the correct point. Compared with the ARN-L model, the difference lies precisely there: where the standard harness covers civil works and scaffolding, this one is aimed at electrical crews and telephone tower work. Even so, its scope should be clear. The harness does not replace the worker’s specific dielectric equipment — gloves, footwear and insulated tools — it removes metal from the body support. Therefore, select it within a complete system, with compatible anchorage and connection, pre-shift inspection and user training, as required by NOM-017-STPS-2024 for the selection and management of PPE. Remove it from service immediately if it has already arrested a fall. Supplied in a master case of 10 pieces.
Recommended for general construction work, scaffold work, building cleaning and repair, telephone towers, electrical sector activities and forestry. It is particularly relevant in any task at height where there is a risk of electrical shock and metal hardware presents a drawback.
