NORMATIVAS Y CERTIFICACIONES

113-STPS-2009 TIPO III + TIPO II + TIPO VI TENIS DE SEGURIDAD

The EXTINTOR ABC dry chemical extinguisher is designed to mitigate fire outbreaks in their early stages, reducing the water needed to fight fire by up to 90% compared to conventional methods. Its ABC classification makes it effective against three types of fire: class A (paper, trash, and wood), class B (liquids and greases), and class C (electrical equipment), covering most risks present in industrial, commercial, and residential environments. For correct use, the P.A.S.S. method is recommended: Pull (the pin), Aim (at the base), Squeeze (the handle), and Sweep, maintaining a distance of 2 to 3 meters and aiming at the base of the flame with zigzag movements. Its pressure indicator allows verifying the equipment is operational before each use, and its high-resistance discharge hose ensures constant flow during application. Available in five capacities (1, 2, 4.5, 6, and 9 kg) to adapt to different risk levels and spaces. Not recommended for: Class C fires with voltages above 1,000V. Do not puncture the extinguisher or remain exposed to the fire for extended periods. This extinguisher mitigates fire outbreaks; it does not extinguish full fires. If untrained in emergency situations, do not use it; instead, help by bringing the extinguisher to trained personnel. Complements sold separately: Wall mount bracket (SOPORTE1) and extinguisher signage (137).
Recommended for any space requiring protection against class A, B, and C fires, including offices, industrial plants, workshops, warehouses, and homes. Must be kept mounted at 1.20 m height with visible signage.
